i got a question. i am about to pick up a set of rpf1, 17x8 +45 front and 17x9 +45 rear. i seen a lot of people putting 45 series tires up front and 40 series in the back, is there a reason for that? i am planing on 225 front and 245 rear but dont know about which tires series would be better because i have cf front fender and dont want them to come in contact with the tires, i am drop but now slammed. thanks in advance.

the "series" is the aspect ratio and that is the heigth of the sidewall, a 225/45/17 has a sidewal of 101mm and a 245/40/17 has a side wall of 98mm if you ran a 225/40 in the front the sidewall would be sifnificantly shorter than the rear.

Oem sizes are perfect, 225/45 are too tall for the front if ur slammed.
