No, they won't. 17x8+45 will because of the different shape of the spokes, but you'll still need a small spacer (5-10mm I think?) to clear though.

IIRC the 9" +45 requires a 20mm spacer to fit spoon calipers.

AKA good luck

I suppose you could get aftermarket fenders...but if you're balling like that might as well get some Volks or something...

I could fit 9" +20. I'm currently on a 9" +45 with a 225, meaning if I add a 20mm spacer then use a 205/40, the outer position of the tire would be the same. I understand that stretching tires isn't for everyone but in reality it can be done with fender work.

Thanks for adding that part, Medic, because I was about to post again saying "WTF" on the 205 on a 9 rim part

I certainly understand...but Im saying if he's going to purchase wider fenders, or go through all the bodywork flaring + paint anyway...why not just get a better, forged wheel than the RPF1 that will fit the calipers?

Maybe he just likes them that much

Currently I'm on 225/45 and 255/40. I know it's not "perfect tire fitment" in your book for my rim width but getting more towards the recommended tires sizes.
