will running 225/45 on the front rub with the x8 +45 and stock fenders?

a lot of people are running the 215 since they're stock ap2 sizes but 225s are cheaper!

Doubt it and sertainly nothing a little camber adjustment couldn't fix if you had to. I'm running a 8.5 at 40 offset but with a 215/40/17 1.5 - camber and plenty of room to run a 225 -- if they made one that wasn't 25 inches tall

Why can't we get some more tire sizing choices, silly what we have to choose from.

what mods do you have to do to the fenders to fit a 17x9 +45 in the front?

not gonna happen unless your at stock height, the front will need a roll with anything more the na 17x8+45 with a 215/40 tire

What does na have to do with it? haha.

Actually I am lowered aprox 2" with a conservative 1.5 - camber up front with 8.5 40mm back spacing with no fender modification needed. Most of which is becuase I run a 215/40/17 tire, but by the looks of it you could run a 225 or even 235 no problem as long as its not in a 45 series, then you will start to run into issues. If you give yourself enough finger gap for the suspension to tuck in as it compreses before reaching the fender then thats part of it, but more so having the side wall pulled in buys you allot of fuge room. You coud run 10 with 38 offset in the rear with just a fender trim if you run a small enough tire and your not slammed more then 2" aprox. If thats the look your after, In my opinion thats too goofy to look purposeful so 9.5 in rear does it the best. I'm at a 2" drop in rear with only negative 2 camber and some minor fender trimming with the 9.5, as you can see from my sveral pics, I have plenty of room front and rear, I almost didn't trim the rear fenders it was so close, but did anyway if i want to run bigger tires in the future.
