Your fenders just need to have enough flare and the bumper cut to make them fit.

I havent tracked this offset yet so we'll see if I have any rubbing. Ive done some canyon runs with no rubbing..

The other thing that will make the 17x9.5 +38 a little easier to fit without rubbing is that a 255 will stretch a hair more than 17x9 giving you a slightly more round tire profile. I'm waiting to see what you say about whether it rubs or not after tracking the car.
