does anyone know what the tallest tire i can run on 17x7.5 +48 and 17x9 +45 without rubbing? I will not be rolling fenders and will be dropped on eibach pro kit or either espelirs springs..
to give you an idea

i'm on 17x8 and 17x9 on a 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 Kumho MX's. I had Sumi HTRZ III's before and they did not rub as much. When I put the Kumho's on I had to roll the rears and relocate the bumper bolt in the back. Front rubs only a little a bit right where the center plastic "bolt plug" is (actually rubbed the head off mine and it fell out) otherwise it's fine.

Are you lowered or stock ride height?

I was planning on getting the same size wheels but I am 1" lowered and scared of rubbing in the front.

sorry i forgot to mention that i'm on the same suspension you plan to run. eibach prokits (stock shocks). and i did forget to mention I am running a decent amount of neg camber as I wanted the camber for grip at the auto-x. i'm about -2.5*/-3* right now in terms of camber F/R

Are there any center caps that fit these wheels that are just a solid, clean piece and not the RPF1 center caps themselves?

Honda part number 44732-S9A-A00

Not cheap but worth it IMO.

Rear caps need to be "thinned" to fit. Nothing a dremel with sanding drum won't fix.

Thanks for the reply. I actually found a vendor on here that had one set left in stock so I picked them up. I still need tires and new lug nuts. Ijust got my front fenders rolled/slight pull last night and I think I should have the clearance I need.

Are they metal or plastic?

Wanted to know if they can be powder-coated to be the same color as the wheels.

Yours are clean that I can't tell if they were spray painted or powder coated.

^ I don't have the HTRZ III's on my s2k, but I did put a good number of miles on them with my wrx and I was very pleased. After 7-8000 miles they still looked pretty much new and that was with -2.5 of camber. I had falken fk452s before that and the sumitomos I thought were far better. For their price I thought they were great. Tire rack actually tested them against the re050 and overall the sumitomos did better.
