Just some info for the million people who are asking about tucking 17 x 9's all the way around on a lowered car. I just finished my wheels / tires / suspension a few days ago and I had to do the following....
I'm running a 17 x 9 +45 set up, non staggered.
What you need to do.
Front -
- cut off the three fender tabs starting from the one closest to the headlight then make your way around.
- Use a fender roller to fold the lip then flair it out.
- Have a dremel handy so you can cut the shit out of the plastic in the fender well cause it will rub if you are really low.
Rears -
- Pull off the black rubber piece that covers the lip of the wheel well and place in garbage can.
- Fold the lip of the fender well then flair out your fender.
- Relocate the tab / point where your fender and bumper meets. (cut off the tab and drill new holes a few inches back)
P.S. stop crying about the paint you chipped and go buy some touch up...
I will post pics soon as I do not want to unveil the new RPF1's with out the last final touch..
Hope I helped...
