You can pull it off and it does look great black...

But IMO you'd complete one of the perfect clean looks if you painted them.

Painted would really make it sexy.

Enkei offers a lot of their wheels in their SBC finish which looks similiar to a black chrome, maybe a little lighter. The only problem is they only offer a select couple of sizes in that finish for each wheel and none of them are s2000 friendly. The only one close is the 17x8.5 +40 but that isn't the concave face wheel so I'd gladly pass.

I would paint it. Much cleaner look, and it will just be subtle. When people come and look up close they'll see the weave and be like "oh shit, that's cf".
