Nice! Do you rub at all on big bumps? What are your camber specs?

 

for those of you wondering about rubbing issues and tires. I am running:

Suspension components:

--espilir springs

Wheels/tire sizes:

--17x9 +45 all around
--245/40f
--255/40r

Alignment:

--euro spec alignment
--+ f:-1.2
--+ r:-2.1
--+ r toe: 0'20"

Fenders:

--Rear fenders:
--+ rolled
--+ bumper tab relocated
--+ bumper trim

--Front Fenders:
--+ flared
--+ fenderliner trimmed

After all of the fender work, i do not rub anywhere. I have taken some pretty big dips and I have not heard the rubbing noise.

For those of you wanting to run 225's, they should work with no front fender work if you run the correct alignment. 235's might work fine also.

With the 245, I was pretty close to not rubbing. I was only rubbing the liner. I wanted the fenders to be done b/c i might do a 255 down the road.

As for the rear fenders, if you are running the 17x9 +45, you are going to need to do all the work mentioned. Everyone is pretty set on it. The only thing i encountered that i must have skimmed over in all the posts was trimming the rear bumper. Its just below the bumper tab about 2-3inches. Cut it off and you shouldnt rub. Now, it could just be me using the 255, but i think it should be done to all regardless.

I hope this answers some peoples questions. I wanted to go kinda crazy with the wheel/tire combo not only for the performance, but to also see what everyone is talking about when it came to fitment. So far, not a big deal. I feel it was well worth it. The only thing, i would like to get my front fenders re-painted b/c some paint chipped underneath which could possibly peel up the fender. We shall see.

Suspension:
H&R Coilovers (350 Lbs Front / 350 Lbs Rear) spring rates.
1 inch before my tire reaches the fender/quarter panel

Tires:
225/255 combination

Alignment: (UK specifications)
1.0 Front Camber
2.0 Rear Camber

Rear fenders:

Rolled
Relocated tab
Bumper trimmed

If you do not want to butcher this vehicle, get different wheels. The rear quarter panel modifications must be completed.

Fronts:

My fender lining tabs were cut already. I cannot comment here except I do not rub.

There is absolutely no rubbing with my setup.

NOW: I am planning to run a 235/265 combination once my tires wear. I am hoping these work with .5 or 1 degree of camber added to my current setup.
