how hard was it to remove old sides and put in new ones?

 

It is very simple. Took me all of 5 minutes to do both sides. MUZ wrote up a nice thread on it, which I used to do the work. Basically you push the marker towards the front of the car and lift up, releasing the spring latch. Detach the plastic blinker and add the new one w/ blub. Done!

You can also use a rag and flat head screw driver to help lift up the blinker, which I did in my case because it was stuck a little. Good luck!

Be sure to put the side makers on the right side! I made the mistake of putting them on the wrong side (left side on right side etc..) and they were fitting awfully weird. But after figuring it out I felt really stupid
