Here are some pictures of a Moddiction engraved shift knob stock height and raised with the 2.5" extender and same with an AP1 oem shift knob.

 

No problems with hitting the dash our changing CDs .

 

Nope not at all. I just did a bunch of driving around with it with the radio cover open and closed. No issues. Also have a modifry mount there with a GPS on it and did not hit that either.

I've got another question .
The shift extender is only for having the shift knob closer to your steering wheel ? Our for something else ?

 

Well that would be the main purpose. With my hand on the 3 o'clock position I can reach out and basically touch the shift knob so nice and close now.
It also makes the shifts much smoother. Longer but smoother. I really like the feel of it. With the weighted shift knob it really feels cool!
