The rims are very strong but one day my wife was driving my car in San Francisco, racing with some guy in the Lexus. However there was the huge pothole and she drove right into it. I checked all 4 but only the outer lip is bend a bid. Cost me $125 and 3 days no driving.

Bulletproof has very very good pricing on ssr wheels for those that are interested. www.bulletproofautomotive.com has pictures of the whole SSR wheel lineup.

Hey, in PIC 4 in your sig Sky-Chicken, the front rim looks bent. Even the light is bent reflecting on it. Did the tire place you take it to ding it on the machine? I'd have them replace the wheel. I've got Work Meister's and the tire place I want to scuffed one pretty bad and I had them buy me a new wheel. Cost them $720 to replae it for me. Now I have a spare in case I bust one up really bad.
