Looks cool...but for those of us with Comptech/Vortech superchargers, I'm just a little skurred that the valve cover extension might protrude a little too far (and rub against the pulley and/or SC bracket). Not to mention that it might also bump into some of the strut tower braces that some of us are running...in particular, I'm running the Cusco CF strut brace, and it looks as if the extension might get in the way of that.

Hmm... I think that extension may look neat in the engine bay, but I don't buy that it will have any noticeable or damage preventive effects on the engine/ performance. If you're into the spoon stuff its definitely i nice piece though.

i love it when people who know nothing, chime in and bash on SPOON, as if they don't know what they're doing... they're just a bunch of lying idiots, over there at the spoon shop, that don't know anything about building race cars/motors or anything...

Looks great. Someone want to share the purpose for that extension?

I'm not a spoon hater, BUT I think that simply drilling a hole and adding a hose to a catch can would work just as well, if not better. Although I believe in certain racing series this may not be allowed in the rule books so what spoon has done is a suitable way of getting around that.

As stated above the new valve cover is to help release crank pressure build up. Allowing more volume in the head cover lowers pressure.
