Remember, you will probably LOOSE money when you trade in your s2k EVEN if it is a first rate paint job. Secondly, Is he going to remove the engine to get into the engine bay? Also, any dark color Black/blue/green is going to be difficult to keep clean. If you really want something that wont be as difficult to clean but you want more pizzaz trade yours in for a spa yellow. Dont want to sound to negative but in 2-4 years when you go to trade in your car you will regret painting it.

The reasons for painting it are:
- i want the body kit molded and the whole car was going to be repainted anyway
- as far as keeping it clean, black shows the most amount of dust and prints compared to other colors.
- i want a color that is not available so that my S stands away from the crowd
Also yes the engine is being lifted for painting of the engine bay. The painters in the shop guarentee me there is no one that will be able to tell it used to be black, and if they can its free. So that sounds pretty decent to me. We will see how it goes.

Just a thought, but if you want a color thats not readily availible so your car will stand out, why not get one that isn't a honda color? Who knows, maybe they'll send MC blue over here for '04, then you'll have spent all the money on a paint job that won't be very individual anymore. Just a thought.
