It's kinda ugly. On a J's V2 hood (or replica), Mugen (or replica) hood, that paint scheme would look good.

I still say rock it untell you get a few more mods. Just to make sure you really want to spend more money on something that was already done. What happeneds if you paint it white and then get some mods and wish you would have kept it.

Or you could just have the vents closest to the windows faded from carbon to white rather then the line from carbon to white. That should help abit because it would help the flow of the hood rather then still look square.

I think a really subtle fade from CF at the edge of each vent to body color at the top is the best look. You are on the right track though, the white looks better than all CF. The angle is definitely weird, but even if it was right, you'd still be left with two stripes on your hood which I don't think would be a great look.

i like it.

others are right tho you need more cf pieces to match up with the cf area of the hood. maybe lip/diffuser..

i think what he meant was to leave ONLY the downward folds in the vents carbon and paint the rest.
That is correct. Notice I said the INSIDE not inside and surrounding landing strip border...

i like it but i think you should had them fade the vents.. at the bottom fade from white to cf... then fade back to white at the top
