My concern is these wing doors are going to become too common place and end up being nothing more than rice.

I used to be a big fan of them, but now... I think I prefer traditional

I liked the doors like on the old Kaiser Darrin. They slid into the fenders. Too bad that never caught on. It'd mean a lot fewer dings in parking lots.

I totally agree with you here. My roommate did the verticle door thing and IMO its way to much for the car. I dont like it at all. I guess it would be points for a car show but other than that there is no need for it. My roommate is already having problems with them. They squeak and when you open them you can only open about a 8 inches then you have to lift up and sounds like they are about to fall apart. But hey he likes them and thats good enough for me. He did say it was a pain in the but to install them.
