Then there's no way he did a 1:17...it's probably 1:27 . That's a good time ( though I think he could probably do at least a 1:25)

they did skid pad, braking, 0-60, and quarter mile. If no one posts I will post when I get home.

Ok the time was 1:27 - best time. and the bowl was open, for this event.

I big FU to all you horsepower junkies. After years of arguing maybe now you'll understand the S2000's ability and why uber Turbo HP is a waste. If you want to go fast in a straight line, buy a mustang, if you want to own tracks, buy an S2000 and build the suspension and give it tires.

true but with that i ran a 13.2 1/4, and now im off the stock ecu and have ITBs. This motor should make over 300whp with stock valvetrain and header. Its not the be all end all but its pretty good, i think. Im not trying to talk a bunch of smack though congrats to you and all the other guys, but especially you for having a non-company car!! good to see the S2Ks are getting serious credentials not just looking cool at shows!!!

I need to pick up the article, I totally understand that Karners car didn't win, but had it been a time attack battle............... So was it a "The best S2000 street car" or was it "The best performing S2000 Battle" ?
