I don't know what I like more, the nice parts or the fact you are going to paint the Hood and trunk.

What do you do for a living to afford a MY04 S2000, Amuse CF goodies, and then a MY05 S2000? I would have purchased a C6 Z06 already.

now thats a waste and so so sad. You paid tthat much for those two parts due to the look/quality of the parts, especially the weaves and now you are going to paint over it? better of buying a seibon n painting that.

I actually didn't buy it because of the weave (perfect though it is). I don't need to show off that the stuff is carbon or that its Amuse. I don't care about that. For example, the Amuse hood is a beautiful piece and doesn't need to be "shown off"; oh look at me, I'm carbon. Even the real all carbon race cars are painted for sponsporship decals etc. The hardtop is something else because its a removable piece which can stand by itself from a design point of view. The others are body pieces which are part of something bigger. I just don't like unpainted body pieces no matter how pretty the weave is. Form follows function.

Don't think I did this haphazzardly!! This was a long time in planning and heart palpitations!! I'm still in disbelief a bit and it has set me back quite a bit, $$ wise! I was able to get a good buyer who offered me good money for my Silverstone. I always wanted a GPW but at the time I got a good deal on that Silverstone and the dealer didn't have any GPWs.

C6 Z06, naw thanks.

BTW, I'm an architect and I do some freelance product design on the side
