I actually didn't buy it because of the weave (perfect though it is). I don't need to show off that the stuff is carbon or that its Amuse. I don't care about that. For example, the Amuse hood is a beautiful piece and doesn't need to be "shown off"; oh look at me, I'm carbon. Even the real all carbon race cars are painted for sponsporship decals etc. The hardtop is something else because its a removable piece which can stand by itself from a design point of view. The others are body pieces which are part of something bigger. I just don't like unpainted body pieces no matter how pretty the weave is. Form follows function.
