First i will tell you about importing the car back to the states. All together it will cost $10,300 to ship and legalize it in the states. Im not too sure I want to do this but hey it is an option.
Regarding the "Toyota/Lexus" Lexus just opened their doors here about a year ago so you do have real Lexus driving around. Like I said earlier though alot of the young Japanese guys really want American parts so they buy stuff through American Car parts sites.
To all thanks for all the kind comments. I will post up more pictures this weekend when I go shopping so you will be able to see the inside of the ASM shop and various other shops. If you want to see anything particular let me know. And yes when I see a new GTR I will sneak a snap of it.
5power- Sure we can meet up. I get back on friday so if you want to go shopping and do lunch on Saturday that would be fine. If you have a cell just let me know and I will call Saturday.
A51_AP1- Im in the Navy. As you know all of the Marines in Japan and their families can not leave base. They have been on lock down for about a month now and dont see the ban leaving any time soon. Just look up marine and okinawa in the same sentance and you will see why. If you want some parts let me know. Im underway till opsec but i plan on going shopping at the ASM and Autobacs Yokohoma this weekend so let me know before then. I can only get on the net in the morning due to Ship restrictions.
