Can anybody explain to me why this car is badged as a Lexus? I was under the impression that Lexuses were badged as Toyotas in Japan...

Nice pics, I hope to go to Japan some day.

sweet pics I'm currently chilling in roppongi hills trying to find some used jdm stuff been to the autobucs in odaiba I believe it's called didn't have any used parts plus the new parts are as expensive or even more than the states.

Does the asm autobacs in Yokohama have used parts? Wanna meet up and go parts shopping? I got lunch.

Toyota has had their Lexus fleet of cars branded Lexus in Japan for some time. They wanted to create the split between economy cars and luxury cars in Japan as it had successfully won over sales in America. Honda has been rumored to want to create an Acura branch back home as well. Not sure about Nissan.

By the the way I have been here for 3 weeks and still have not seen a s2000. I have seen ferrari's on a daily base, tons of vips from the likes of ls460 to bentleys, but no s2000. In ginza last night I witness one of the greatest stop light display of power a
lambo Gallardo Superleggera vs a f430. Cars here are amazing, they don't rock the bottom line stuff either. Wish I see more of the S car.
