My DIY valve/spark plug cover
Due to so much mechanical work in the last year my valve cover looked like crap so I desided to paint it. I got finally inspired by this ( ASM is my hero in the s2k world) and FF2Skip:
The plan was to order a AP2 spark plug cover since even in the year 2006 our market still gets the AP1 with a black spark plug cover. But than I desided to paint the one I have and keep the Honda logo on top. Here is the outcome:
My comments: I was too lazy to cover the holes perfectly, nothing that a bit of paint thinner could not remove later on. I did not sandpaper the original red paint to maintain a ruff finish, even tho' it came out a bit more shiny than I would like it to be. No wrinkle paint available here, otherwise I would use that. The letters on top have been sandpapered to a smooth finish.
Bad or good, tell me how you like it.

^yeah wrinkle paint would be better but we are very limited in paint choise here in Dubai (no idea why). I used Enamel black premium paint from made by ACE and Metalic gold also made by ACE.
Kept it in the oven for some time like Skip did LOL
