I'm happy for him. I like his car. I'm sure i'll like the kid when I meet him. That doesn't change my OPINION of those fender thingys. He's 18 now, he can take a little criticism.
I think this car is absolutely fantastic myself, but I think Ubetit has the right to say what he did. After all, it wasn't that harsh. Perhaps Dad should let his son fight his own battles, he is 18. But props to learnerspermit I think the car rocks.

Awesome setup, I can't wait till it's finished off with lower offset/wider wheels. Tell me your sticking with a one piece forged wheel atleast?

BTW. why hasn't anyone had the J's /ASM rear fender panel molded in, I think it would look a lot cleaner, it's not like it's a reversible mod anyways?

If you beg enough maybe a video can be made this weekend. Some custom wheels will be soon,,THe rear fender is being cut out so the fender flares will be functional.
That's as close as I can get with these things

I'm toying with this idea and running 275's on my LMs.

I would think over time you would see some cracking in the fiberglass work. For the sake of longevity I think it would be best to just rivet them on. But, I do agree that they would look better molded.
