Default My 93 MR2 Turbo project thread

Hi everybody! Some of you might remember me and my old S2k project: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/513...om-orange-s2k/

Well, I dont't have an S2k anymore, but I wanted to share my new project anyway with this great community of enthusiasts. I'll be posting a sloooow progress as it gets closer to my ideal goal of transforming this MR2 into an inspired JGTC racer, which will be going through many stages, from mild tuned body to an extreme wide monster!
Thanks for watching!

I bought this '93 Turbo in May, 2011. Seems like it was well maintained and it was recently repainted. It has 99,xxx on the ODO and everything is stock.

The seats have also been redone recently:

So the project begins from the inside out:

Got the Racepak UDX

This dash is pretty cool, but it doesn't come with a shift light, so I had to get a separate one.

Ecliptech I-shift next to OMP Superquaddro steering wheel

I bought a universal mounting panel for the Racepack and started the process of trimming to fit it into the MR2 and to integrate it with the shift light:

Didn't like the color and logo of the Racepack so repainted it gloss black and designed my own logo to replace theirs:

Mounted on panel:

Old vs. new:
