Messing around with new camera
Here are some 16:9 format mpegs I shot with my new camcorder and mount. I have higher quality stuff but I need a video capture card and software to do anything with it. These mpegs and stills were captured to memory stick. The camera is a Sony DCR-HC42 with 0.7x wide angle lens and a shot gun microphone, on a mount from ricks2k.com. The camera wiggles on bumpy roads no matter how tight its screwed down. I attribute that to its plastic housing. I need to figure out a way to stabilize it. You can hear it shaking around in a few places. The mic works well with the top on, but with it down you can only hear wind. Right-click in the lower right of the frame and the video will render smoother.

Shot this while setting up some still photos. I didn't know I was shooting video at the time. I think it's funny.
