Wow -- you're right.
That definitely looks amazing!

I've just done a morning's worth of research on the resonator (what it is, what it does, etc) and I'm not sure cutting it off is a good idea.

Did you notice any changes once you had done it?
I know it's ridiculous...just don't want to do anything that might hurt the engine.

It is there for sound deadening. No need for it otherwise.

Cool -- thanks!

Does it just...cut away?
I realize I'll need to plug the hole that's left behind.
Is that the 'cross member' referred to above?
Or is that the carbon piece between the airbox and engine block?

do those mirrors help at all?
The mirror definitely gives you a broader view and eliminates some of the blind spot. It also reduces glare. It takes some getting used to for the drivers side. Or at least it does for me. Makes it feel like your not focusing well or something at first. Only driven a few miles with them so far though. Definitely happy with them.

The two pieces of blue left on the Greddy SE exhaust is my fault lol....couldnt sand/polish it out because the bumper was in the way.

Yes the resonator just reduces sound, nothing else. It will all just cut away, and you will have that small rectangle open. I had my airbox gutted, then insulated it so that hole was covered by my insulation material.

Doing this you will loose that mounting point, but the airbox is held in fine by the 2 bolts on the left side. The crossmember just looks ugly bare down there with the resonator gone, so I bent some sheet metal, painted it black and made a cover for mine so it looks nice. The carbon heatshield has nothing to do with the intake or airbox, its just an engine heatshield from Moddiction.
