I was thinking about trading my 2005 s for a 2007 M coupe with 13200miles on it.
Hows the shifting compared to the S. Is this S really that better than the M.

What do I guys like better about the s?
s>m
The s handles better.. doesnt feel like a cow in the corners.
The Ms rear brakes loose pretty easy.
The M feels really big even tho it isnt.
The S feels like a race car/ the M feels like a luxury cruiser
The M fell apart in a few places in the first few weeks (shift knob came off in my hand when shifting into 2nd, plastic panels coming loose, wheel paint chipping)
M>s
The M def has some nice torque and a nice top end.. I got that car up to 160 and felt like i still had some room left.
chick magnet (way more looks and then the s)
heated power seats haha
I left my s at the shop for a yr.. 6 months into it i picked up the M.. after i forgot what it was like to drive the S.. i started to enjoy the M.. when i drove my S back from the shop.. i havent drive the M again. Im over miles anyways but Ill drive it back to the dealer in Nov and not really miss it. Its a car ive wanted to have.. and i dont regret picking it up.
S>M by far.
I actually like driving my 328i a little more then the M.. less power but the thing bounces around turns.. feels like a sporty nimble sedan should. Id have more fun on the track with the 328 i think. i think it would be more fun to throw around.
there are very very few cars that would be more pleasing to drive then the S. None of those cars sell for under 100K.
