To be fair, the Viper is a street car, but it is pretty damn close to a race car. It has a weight loss program and has an optional radio delete option and lighter wheels. It has adjustable suspension, carbon fiber front splitter, a full underbody, and a wing that produces quite a bit of downforce (something like 1000lbs @ 150mph). As for the "street tires" comment, sure, if you consider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup street tires.
