What brand are the doors Mike? I'm assuming you're caging the car then.
Vis. Yup I am planning on caging it. too bad the inside isn't carbon fiber (they used fiberglass on the inside to give as much strength as possible). but it will be custom molded kevlar on the inside soon.

I'm trying to weigh the bare cf door and stock door, but im having trouble removing the handle at the moment. I can already feel about 20lb difference between the carbon fiber and oem door (maybe less, but the feel is significant).

The CF doors are 15lbs each. Stock doors bare are 34lbs. So 17lb weight savings per door. Totaling 34 lbs.

That's a good amount of weight shaved, however I thought it would be a lot more. I guess the weight is in the glass. You should get some Plexi windows to match. I'm curious about the fitment. Post asap as soon as you get it fitted.

i thought 20 lbs was a whole lot since the door is placed on the very outside and it has its height. for under $2g in the market, 20lb isn't bad imo - since the next step is $15g for dry carbon. the window and all the locking mechanism add up alot of weight lol. Also, the inside skeletal frame is fiberglass (which disappointments me), but u can always get a dry carbon or kevlar inside molded to replace it. I mocked up everything yesterday night - fitment was perfect.

the bumper is one piece construction. the shop still has the mold. they're having special introductory pricing ending on April 10th.
