I couldnt go back to one unless they added 100hp.. too many other cars that you get more for your money (used m coupe, evo, 370z etc)
I think its funny when people say things like that. I can't drive an S2000 at it's full potential, why would I want 100 more HP?

Too many people buy cars based on magazine performance numbers rather than matching their actual driving talent. What's embarrassing is when you buy those "more for your money cars" and still get whooped by people that can actually drive in their S2000's.

End rant, enjoy your R32, I hope you reconsider the Evo X.

To each their own, on every road there will be a point for every car to show a weakness, the S2000 is a momentum car, if you can't keep up the momentum it wants, it won't perform up to your standards. It definetly has it's drawbacks, but it's rewards heavily out way it's flaws for me, so a car like the R32 and Evo X really don't hold a candle to what I want out of a performance car, which first and foremost is, Fun. I too have owned multiple S2000's, I'm on my 3rd and think a CR will be my final/4th. Good luck with whatever you decide, but make sure fun is your priority, you'll enjoy the car more if it is.

SPOT ON!!! lol, pretty much summed it up. Friend who owns a 350z keeps telling me its underpowered this and that should get a more powerfull car... I bought this car so it puts a smile on my face, and it does a very good job at it. If you bought this car and just DD it from work and back your waisting your money and ruining the purpose of the car... It comes down to what your needs are with the car. The S is aging but stil raging! Still very competitive car imho! I love this car and plan on spending many more years with it! Just my opinionlol. BTW nice R32, but too expensive for what it is imo.

I love all the VW R32's, DSG only in the current generation correct? I know I risk the flaming but I could never get myself to buy a car that didnt have a traditional manual trans.

Interiors on those are uber sweet, nice ride man.
