Thanks one thing I noticed from these photos is the NSX is much more streamlined while the R8 is more bulky!

On paper the NSX is 3.7" more narrow than the R8 and this really shows especially from the butt angle. However the NSX sits quite a bit lower with the coilover setup. My plan is to use H/R springs to give the R8 a nicer stance after seeing another local owner's car. The R8 has the magnetic ride suspension so similar to the M3's EDC, you don't want to change out the struts or you lose that function.

One good thing about the NSX is that it has a cheap lower plastic lip so I'm not so worried about scraping but on the R8 there is only expensive bodywork

beware fitting h&r with magnetic suspension, a friend did it on a m3v8 and in 50.000miles, suspension fault came in on the dashboard.

thank you, good point!

I had the Koni cup kit on my e90 m3 with the EDC and it was ok but didn't drive it for that many miles really.

Will ask the R8 owners about the H/R and suspension related issues.

I ordered these back in March from LoveFab which is very well known builder of race cars. Received them yesterday so it took a while but looking at the quality, it was well worth the wait.

This header/HFC setup will be connected to my GT5.1 exhaust so from what I understand should really open up the sound of the NSX motor. This is the first big mod I'm doing to this car in years so pretty excited

A friend suggested doing a time laspe video so we'll see!

They are actually HFC's custom welded inside the straight pipe tubes so it looks concealed

Just gotta find time to get it installed!

Hopefully with this new system will give me more reason to drive the car.....
