I had the 2004 headlights installed this summer because of an accident and because it cost me $0 to convert due to insurance ect. The orange is so small that it looks fine. I think they look much more agressive mostly because there is more black in the headlight because that huge diffuser is not there. I think it is definately worth the money because I really think they look much better. Lastly, I like that little silver ring around the HID bulb.

I don't know why, even though I may not like the design of the '04 as much (well, I do now), I love the headlights!!!!!!!

i like the JDM's on your car now...makes it more stealth and clean looking. '04's aren't bad either, but i'd stick with JDM

John

I would have to suggest waiting on the '05s to show up in Japan and see if they do indeed have cleared out '04 style headlights. If this is the case then I would give that a big thumbs up. As things are now I like the overall design of the '04 lights but the amber really does not do your car justice and adds an unpleasant contrast to your calipers as you mentioned.

This is very simple. 04 all the way only because in Japan the JDM's are our 04 OEMs...I had both and would never go back to the JDM style headlamp. I hear that for 05 in Japan they are going to be the same as our 04 OEM's minus the orange. Its going to be clear. Those will be the hot item next year. Just you wait and see..
werd

I went through 03 OEM---02 JDM---04 OEM myself

I like the 04 the most.

I actually think the 2004 headlights are too busy looking, but they seem to blend in with the Berlina Black.
