One of the neat things i never even thought of myself, is it actually allows for more suspension stroke. 6mm more in their example.

These concepts should apply to any well made tower bar, regardless of brand though.

I read on the tanabe website that you're supposed to install the strut bar while the front half of the car is jacked up. Does this really make a difference?

i talked to a guy that builds rollcages for race cars at a living, he was explaining to me the reason why you would want the front jacked up while installing the bar, is the chasis is flexed inwards when your car is lowered, by jacking it up, it relieves the stress of the chasis, the bar bolts on, you lower it, and the chasis will stay stiff. thats not scientific data by any means, but it made a lot of sense, and hes very credible.
