so did they charge you extra for that or is that included in the base price?
Hmm... can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic, but as far as I know, it's the same price regardless of how much "blue-ing" you get.

btw did you ask for the muffler to have the blue gradiation or is that what they do for all newly made amuse systems? i thought they only heat up the tip, not the muffler.
Weird... after you mentioned this, I went back and dug up an old thread:

Seems like that R1000 didn't have the blue-ing on the muffler. Don't know why mine is different. Looks like my muffler is more polished than his, too. Maybe Amuse is just changing their finishing processes. I specifically ordered the "standard" one, not the full-blue one. It doesn't really make much difference to me, though... I didn't really buy it for appearances.

Don't hold your breath. I don't have a camcorder. Maybe somebody will bring a camera out to our meet tomorrow (Saturday) or to the autocross next weekend.

good thing you clarified that. i guess amuse just has a new finishing process. it looks good though.

Yeah, I guess somebody complained because their full race exhaust wasn't purdy enough, so Amuse started polishing and "blue-ing" the full canister. It's a friggin racing exhaust, not a show-car exhaust. Either way, I would've been happy. Hell, as long as it weighs 9 lbs and makes 10+ hp, I'd be happy even if it was primer grey!

Thanks for the comments!

Welcome to the "What did you say?" club. I think we should include ear plugs with each exhaust purchase.
