Sup guys! my name's Huey. I'm in a car club name Team V2lab(you may be familiar with v2lab.com, if not pls check it out!). I do a lil photography here and there, shooting mostly cars. I'm supposedly known as the "wheelwhore" on the interwebs lol. anyways, i sold my civic not too long ago, and finally bought the car of my dreamThis time i plan to change some things up a bit, and make the s2k more worthy. Stay tune for the progression, i will keep this thread updated with pics and new mods!

March 18,2011
The day i got her @ stock height. Fistful of gap
After searching for about 3 weeks, and being screwed over several times by jackass private sellers I decided to just search for it at a dealership. after a week patience, the car pop up at a dealership only 20mins away from home. I check it out, test drove it, and here's the result:

March 26, 2011
I ordered new wheels and stance gr+ coilovers weeks before i bought the s2 but it took a while for the wheels to get build, faces of the vsxx had to get chrome dipped, and 4" lips had to be custom made. I wanted a really aggressive setup for the s2(I was a lil clueless of what the s2 can handle w/o major body work, or camber) after i got the inner fenders shaved but after the wheels got here, i notice wheels were poking way too much, it was almost about a 2-3 inch of poke even with stock camber adjusted. i had yet to learn these chasis!

*the wheels and coils came in the same night, and the V2 BIG MEAT was the next morning. So I ended up throwing every thing together the next morning, trying to get it to look right. but with the extreme poke and the stance coils couldnt go any lower, shit was a WRECK. I ended up driving to the meet the last min, and car was swerving like hell on the highway...FAIL

Lowest it could go, still LOTS OF GAP!

Chrome dipped vsxx with gold bolts-Falken 912 wrapped

225/40/18 stretched on x10.5's

March 27, 2011
day of meet, i got there at around 2pm. result=mexipoke

April 8, 2011
after i got time off from everything, it was time to take off the vsxx and go back to stock. the inner fenders and bumper lining was all f'd up from all that rub lol.
I decided to why not do a lil photoshoot before i took off the wheels, and never see them again eventho it was a fitment gone wrong

*same day i ordered new coilovers, Megan Track edition. with the stance coils i couldnt achieve the stance i wanted, and in order to go lower i had to replace the springs, it wasn't worth it.

*New parts ordered and installed-Spoon oil cap, rad cap, strut bar, torque damper, reservoir covers, and Air duct(snorkel)

Spoon Air duct has yet to be installed. car didnt come with stock airbox lid so this couldnt attach to anything yet.

yes i could've but during the time, i just bought the car, and wheels came in a week later so I couldnt get any work done on the fenders. the only thing that's done is shaved rear fenders. the fronts are not rolled yet so fitment was horrible but anyhow, im goin with a diff setup. that ill have more time to work with
