Those pics are from Prologue, which I have. These pics are pretty low res, but graphically Prologue is superior to GT3. And keep in mind that Prologue's graphic engine isn't final, PD has tweaked it up since then so the final version of GT4 will look awesome.

PS2 cannot output to HDTV resolutions (720p/1080i) so all these high-res photos are just for show and not in game.

Well I don't know the technical aspects, but these screen shots are in fact in game images, not cgi's made for show.

If they cant show that good of quality images...then why can I watch the Final Fantasy cinematics...hmm? I know rendering has its differences between continuous rendering of 3D models vs a flat video feed, but the resolution issues will hardly be dicernable if comparing them from marketing vs in-game. It looks very promising in my opinion, and if they say in-game, what have they got to lose by not showing real footage. If you're complaing about resolution quality due to Hi-Def rendering, you would know that you can render objects with low res quality so that it doesn't take 3 days to render 15 seconds of Hi-Quality feed. Just a teaser, and those Hi-Def screens ARE used for marketing because its only a still, the others are probably captures from a clip. Im rambling...pardon me.
