Picked up a white 2006 s2000, and LOVIN IT. all i need to do now is sell my 2005 black one lol.

Man - you have an 05 and you already bought an 06? Wow, you go through cars fast! Out of curiousity, why would you purchase an 06 without even knowing how it's different from the 05? Anyhow, I'll list all of the differences I know of below:

First of all, it does NOT have 3 less hp...the government just changed the way they measure hp and resultingly the s2000 has a slightly lower rating

Added Laguna Blue Color

Got rid of the red and black combo for sebring silver

White now comes with black interior instead of tan

Traction control is now included

Different style rims

Passenger storage area (near where the passenger's knees would be)

Different style steering wheel

Darker silver door for the radio

Black trim instead of silver for center compartment

External Temp Gauge (I think)

Headrests are filled in instead of honeycomb

Standard headrest speakers


I think that's it. Enjoy your new car and please give us a review of the differences between the 05 and the 06 - I'm curious if they feel any different!

ya thx guys, im just brakin in the car and wouldnt be able to put my carbon fiber parts and exhaust and all till i sell my old one. If the new buyer wants all my parts ima let it go with the car, but if he doesnt want them ill be glad to drop it on my new one. I knew most of the differences between the cars but wanted to know if i missed anything, plus when i heard white came with black int. i was ONNNNN ITTTTTT. So far ive had a car for every year, but hopfully this will be my last year. Lot of people told me to get a different car, but damn i just cant get away from the s2000. NO joke i think its the perfect sports car.
