okay, so i was coming back from pismo beach this weekend and decided to stop over at santa maria, driving down blosser it was dark as hell and i slammed the piss out of my car on something hard.
didn't know anything was wrong until every time i stepped on the gas the rear would slide to the right a little. i know i don't have that much torque, thought it was the road at first, like it was really slick but when i got on another street i knew something was wrong.
so, i pulled over at a gas station and saw the flat, put my inflate a flat can on and then tried to use the gas station's air supply. no good. the tire was only half flat, so i decided to drive the fifteen miles home. usually a short drive but it took like 45 minutes. tire didn't make noise until the last couple miles (good sturdy sidewall).
sucks, those tires were only like six months old. so i calculated it out, $255 for the rim and $300 for a new set of tires. nice, the stupid flat just cost me $555 at minimum. well, i'll be rocking my ap1 rim set for a while, good thing i have a few extra sets of rims for my car.

oh yeah, a side note, don't leave your rim lock key at home. i just recently moved from florida to california and i guess i just swapped rims before i left 'cause my tool wasn't in my trunk or glove box.
