Default Finally bought my S2000

So yeah I picked this up on Monday. 2001 Berlina Black with red interior, 52000 miles, OEM lip and spoiler. It also had the front/rear honda emblems removed. Car is in flawless shape and 6k miles ago it was purchased with new tires (dunlop POS tires that get no traction whatsoever, so I will be burning through them quickly), new rotors/pads, and a new clutch.

Basically it was a complete upgrade from my previous car (motor swapped hatch with NO PS, AC, or power windows).

Looks like she's had pretty good care so far. Congrats!
You just think you like her now - wait untill after fall is over and you've had a chance to bond. It only gets better.
Be careful of the rear end dynamics if you're not familiar with rwd - especially in the wet.

i put 800 miles on it in 4 days - ive learned how to drive it. The back end does like to kick out though, but hey thats JDM hahaha. One thing is I am getting a noticable vibration (and a noticable sound outside) when i drop from 4k rpms to idle. It happens a LOT more and is a lot louder when the AC is on. Any ideas?

Best color combo!

THe noise could be the clutch buzz issue (?)

nah clutch was replaced already for that - my motor also gives off a similar vibration when I crank it up/turn it off. I was thinking motor mount??

Congrats on the purchase!

Now you just need to hardwire that radar detector so you don't have that cord running through your car. I have the Escort Passport 8500 x50 and it was a breeze to install.

OMG that is the perfect base for a project car.
OEM lip, OEM spoiler, shaved front badge, great condition, and black/Red!!

YAY!!! I better read about this car in the Gallery throughout the next months of your progress.
