Damn bro. Just saw this thread. Sorry for your loss. WOW, that is just painful to see. Just as you thought you were protecting your car from the snow, some crazy shit like that happens. Good luck with your repairs.

It wasn't damaged. Only the windshield was affected. The photos only make it look like more was damaged. This is according to his own(sonic's) account.

No, the windshield frame was not affected other than cosmetic damage.
