Define Irony
A great night...
Ok, so I go with 3 friends to see Kingdom of Heaven (which was so absolutely awful that after watching an hour and a half we walked out and went in to catch the last hour of XXX which sucked almost as bad). Since there was 4 of us and between us we drive an S2000, G35, and Prelude we decided to take my mother's 2005 Honda Accord and leave my S2000 parked at the end of my driveway.
Side note: We live on a busy street and my mother was just commenting yesterday that she spent hours relaxing on our front balcony and almost every car that drove by had a driver that was staring at the S2000 even after having passed the house. She said that somebody is going to get into an accident.
Back to the story: The terrible movies end and my brother and I drop off the other two guys at their homes. We're coming up our street approaching our house so I signal right, slow down and begin to turn into our driveway. Out of nowhere a green Chevy Venture jumps onto our lawn and T-bones us on the right side when we're already 90% into our driveway.
We get out and argue back and forth for a bit. It turns out that this guy was so mesmerized staring at the yellow S2000 in the driveway that he didn't see me signal and slow down. By the time he looked up it was too late. He slammed on the breaks and swerved right for some dumb reason and ended up hitting the right side of the Accord and coming within 3 feet of crushing my beloved S!
The first thing I checked when I got out of the Accord was whether or not the S was ok. Needless to say he didn't hit the S2000 or I would be writing this thread from a jail cell right now.
I guess the moral of the story is don't park your S2000 at the end of your driveway if you live on a busy street because an accident will happen and it may be your cherished Accord that gets wrecked. Yes, the moral is very specific.
I love the new Accord and think that it is one of the greatest vehicles ever made so
Anyway, since it was right in front of my house I grabbed my digital camera and took some pictures.

So Kingdom of Heaven was that bad huh? hehe jk
Good thing the S is ok and good luck fixing the Accord. The dude in the Venture deserves some pain!
but seriously, Kingdom of Heaven was that terrible?

This is going to sound funny considering the movie...but for the love of God DO NOT see Kingdom of Heavan. You WILL regret it.
And XXX was just as bad but in a different way. In that loud annoying, over-acting, all one-liners sort of way.

Wow...if that were true(people actually paid that mucha attention to the S2000) Then everyone in SoCal would be getting into accidents every minute...mainly due to the fact that I see on average of 5 S2000's on any given short commute, and even more on longer communtes. HEHEH good story though and at least your car is alright. And I though that Kingdom hearts movie was gona be good too, but for some reason I didn't even think it was out yet.
