Ben, I'm glad to see your project materializing as they say.....very nice teaster pics - that chrome just makes me want to say "WOW"!
Now I see what you are talking about with the division of the top of the hoop and bottom section. When I was thinking about painting my roll hoops I could never figure out how to "divide" the upper and lower sections. I see you got a good handle on his....can't wait to see the final results!
good job,
rick

Thanks for the props, guys. I have been talking to rick [s4play] about this for a couple of months now and I am glad you finally got to see what we have been talking about this whole time! I went by the shop after work today to drop off some more work, if anyone is interested in seeing more of the shop's products go to www.creationsnchrome.com. Lots of cool stuff in the gallery. Gary, the owner, did the Mustang in the "pimp my ride" final episode last seaon. Talented guy.
Thanks again for all the postive comments, I am as excited as you are to see the results.

Do you have any other pics of your car yet?!? Or have I just missed them?

Interesting ideas. I think with just the roll hoop chromed it may look odd since there is no other shinny parts on the rest of the car. Maybe some chrome wheels or or interior trims to match?
I'll wait for the final picture to pass any judgement...

The reason I thought of doing this was to get some contrast in my car, which at the current time is black over black...with a black top, thats lots of black. If it turns out too much, I may tint the clear over the chrome paint with some black and give it more of a black chrome look.
