I went to pick up the roll hoops this morning and didnt like what I saw. I had used rattle can primer to save some time and money and it had some pinholes and surface imprefections that really showed through the chrome paint. The painter and I decided that it really needed to be stripped and reprimered with catalyzed primer to get the results that i wanted. So, he is going to do that. Damn it.
Needless to say, they wont be going in today. Sorry bout that, I'm pretty disappointed, but this does give me a chance to tint the clear when he repaints them and go for more of a black chrome look. It'll be attempt #2 in a couple of weeks. Until then...keep the faith.

Damn... sorry to hear that. Len no longer gives you a 40 . Rattle can primer? You get a 20 . Too bad you can't just throw 'em on the car real quick to get a photo...
Good luck, keep us posted
