Well, a lot of it I did myself, but here is an estimate of what it would cost to replicate these:
Rollhoop assemblies - I believe you can get these from hardtopguy for around $120 apiece, $240
Sandpaper, Bulldog adhesion promoter, flexible filler primer, SEM plastic prep, etc. $50
Chrome painting $350
Installation [4 hours according to shop guide] $320
Total $960
I did get hooked up on a lot of this stuff, and this doesnt take into account the time I spent sanding or altering the parts. I basically delivered the parts to the painter fully surfaced and ready to rock. I also let the primer cure for close to a month to minimize any shrinking. There is no guarantee, however that the seam between the 2 halves may reappear as the plastic expands and contracts in the heat. So, it has been a PITA to do and is not an inexpensive mod, but I definitley crossed the point of no return long ago.

Also, I must compliment the sanding and painting job. This paint (Ive used it myself before) TAKES a massive amount of skill to put on, and any flaws in the sanding process will show like warts. Again, great job. Kudos to you Ben, and the painter.

Thanks for the kudos, Dave. I credit Gary at Creations N' Chrome for it. He is amazing with the chrome, from what I hear it is very difficult to spray.
Nate, you have gone too far now. Stobar give me a 40 out of 40? You have been away from school too long.
