Ah, but at least the concept car has adjustable tinting... can make the roof more opaque to block out more light if you want. Kinda neat.

concept next gen RX7 maybe?
I was just gonna say that!

Seriously though, that car does somehow remind me of the first gen rx7, especially form the rear, tranlated though Mazda's contemporary styling language (although the rear deck and C pillars remind me of the 240Z mroe than the RX7 really).

The only reason I hope it's not a proto-RX7 is that if it were that would mean it would get a renesis...much better if it had the mzr 2.3 TT engine and RWD methinks.

Definitely wouldn't mind seeing a production verison of that, blows a 350Z right away IMO, and almost as nice as an S2000 !!

Looks like Mazda is heading in a good direction. I agree that this could be a replacement Rx7.

Only complaint is they need to keep the quarter window the same height as the passengers windows.

eeaahh...... I'm not too impressed.
It looks like a broken record.... like another RX-8 with some kit on it. Mazda needs to get away from the super duper fenders and come up with something new...

Looks like the child from an RX-8 and a 350Z. But I like it...

Sure why not right, both cars are good looking cars, so take cues from both and make a good looking bastard child

They have got to make this car!!! It's stunning!! Have you also seen pics of the interior the way it wraps around the driver?!? That's even better than the exterior.
