[QUOTE=swifbboy,Apr 1 2010, 08:49 AM] russ from chaser explained why this latest batch didnt fit so well on another thread somewhere.something about them being stacked and exposed to heat or something then they sagged on the edges which created gaps. supposedly you can heat up these frp tops and "mold" them back to fit more properly. i dont know if that is true or not.

That's still crap though. They all should have been scrapped and never gone out the door. Lousy call if you ask me. Obviously it would have been a decent chunk of change lost but now his reputation is in the dumps. If I'm buying a product that I'm paying $1000 for or close I shouldn't have to remold it to fit right. Also, based on those pics above there is no way anything is being shaped and it going to fit right. Any way you move those corners to make that gap close up and you've now put the corners where they aren't supposed to be.

my dscf top appears to have the same issue around the corners where they meet the windshield. its almost like the corner tips are to tight or close together...... wondering if it will be fixable.... anybody got any suggestions?
