Just paint it black. Any other color looks like it's unpainted, and causes people to think you're a ricer.

 

Just pain it black, its cool your thinking of doing something different, but plain black is the best way to go.

i really didn't think the reaction would be quite so conservitive

i could always paint it black an do vinyl over the lower section --

but vinyl seems ever more rice --
