The only bulb that fits into the low beam socket is the D2S bulb, so i'm not sure how they got the h1 into the spot, unless it was just wedged in there with the clip.
You need to look underneath the headlight assembly and see if there is a silver metal box bolted to the bottom of your headlight, this is your HID ballast. If that box is not there, then the D2S bulb that you bought will not work. D2S bulbs are HID only.
If the ballast is not there, your going to have purchase a new ballast and ignitor kit. I would recomend checking this site Xenon King and buying a kit, however the kit comes with the bulbs and you already have the bulbs. If you purchase the ballasts seperatly you will end up paying close to $300 bucks for it, or you could just buy the kit for $315 that comes with the bulbs and upgrade to 6000K and sell the bulbs that you have already purchased. I have 10000K bulbs in mine and i love them. You shouldn't have any trouble gettting rid of the D2S bulbs in the for sale forum on this site.
This is going to be your cheapest way out, because if you buy ballasts from honda, your gonna pay out the butt for them! This kit is very easy to wire up, I put a set in my buddy's accord.
Hope this helps!

well I figured out what the situation is. There is no ballasts and they put the same bulb (H1) as the high beam in as a low and re wired it to work. Time to hunt for ballasts now

BTW - my car was a reconstructed one. I think they took the HIDs to sell and swapped them with halogens to sell or something.
Good post YELLOS20003.

Also, does anyone have any pics of how these ballasts should be put on? I have never seen where to mount them. I greatly appreaciate the S2k forums and all of its members/guests!!
