Brake Rust
OK I know there were numerrous threads and complaints about Honda's rusting brake rotors. However, after a month and a half of ownership, my rotors are as orange as the turn signal lights ! I don't know what I did (of did not do) to deserve this? So my question is what to do about it or is there a rust proof alternative (hopefully without costing an arm or a leg)? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Even inside the slots? Sure the surface where the brake pad makes contact is "clean (well...incomparison to the INSIDE of the rotor slots)." I remember having the same problem with my Prelude and I guess it's something that we have to live with?

I live right on the water (salt water) and if I let my car sit for 1 day my rotors will rust. This has happened with every car I owned and to anyone else that doesnt drive for a day that parks in my driveway. it comes right off after pressing the breaks once when stopping. Its nothing to worry about at all. If it bothers you, you can use it as an excuse to get a big break kit.
