Default Was bored this morning so I snapped some new pix

Finally got around to taking the time to get my Alpine 7998 headunit installed along with my Alpine amp. I made the small amp enclosure myself, I think it turned out pretty good for my first time making an amp eclosure. Also got the OEM front lip installed last week.

hey....which AMP is that??? and does it hook up to the front speakers and head unit??

also can that HU change colors?? i know some of the alpine units can...but im not sure about this one

The amp is a MRV-F340 V12 4ch. The Alpine 7998 headunit doesn't have a built in amp, therefore an external amp is required to even use this headunit.

And yes that headunit can change color, Green is the only other option. This is what it looks like:

PS: For those who are interested, here is a small video of the 7998 headunit mounted in the S, to show how it opens and closes. Most of you are concerned with this headunit fitting properly and opening and closing due to the recessed area where the unit goes, but it does work with some fine adjusting of the the deck. It's a tight fit, but it works great.

nice lil vid...looks like a perfect fit. did you also get that device so you can still use the audio controls next to the steering wheel?

pretty good spot for the aimp.

you need to take that spare out or cover it. it'll ruind the view of the aimp
