what type of CF lip is that? I didn't know they made one that look OEM lip style?

I have sold this film for almost two years and have never seen a melted headlight let alone any damage. The film even peels of cleanly when you are finished with it. If you purchase the quality film with the proper mm you will not experience any issues. I have use this film on my car for almost two years and no problems.

NOPE! It's a Seibon.

Why do you need alcohol to put them on?

The alcohol makes it easier to get the air bubbles out and it makes it adhere better to the lens.

are these originally designed to just look cool, or will they resist pitting and rocks?

My oem ones are starting to get really bad from pitting. I was conidering buffing them out and putting laminx on, but not if the laminx film is gonna pit easy..

are you sure it's seibon? I looked on their site and it shows nothing of their CF LIP for the Ap2...
